Trade School

Trades jobs are related to construction, labor, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, culinary arts, beauty, business, media arts. Many people even switch to trade school as they are sometimes better for job stability.

Community College.

Unfortunately, there is a stigma for people who do Community College, but the statistics of success speak for themselves, people in community college tend to succeed. Community college can transfer to university or just study and get straight to the workforce.

Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is a paid work experience that teaches you skills while you work, it is a combination of on-the-job training and classroom learning. You will gain skills needed to succeed, personalized help, and networking chances.

Gap year

Not everyone is ready for University off the bat, and that’s completely ok and normal! Many people take a gap year to find themselves and understand who they are, a gap year can assist with that. Many people take the time to travel, work, prioritize their mental health, or finances.

Volunteer work

Sometimes some places are looking for volunteers to assist in bettering the community around them, those can give you valuable experience, that could end in a job offer (not always a given though).

There is no one way to do life, everyone is on a different journey to what success is to them. While social pressure to go to University, always know that there are many options that could even better suit you.
